I literally never loan someone cards, if they can't afford their own cards, they can't afford to repay me when something happens to them

I'm not going to carry around an extra "bad deck" on the off chance I need to include someone that doesn't have their own in a game against my "real deck" And I don't loan out cards because I don't want to spend my time policing how someone treats my stuff. So I'm no fun.

Well, I'll meet you in the middle on this. I lent someone at my LGS an Oathbreaker deck because he hadn't played the format and I had 3 decks built; when the game was over and he handed it back to me, he had shuffled the deck so cards were upside down. Told him never again.
