So your proposal instead of IDing: 1. Lengthen the entire tournament by ensuring every round goes to time 2. Dedicate additional staff to monitor people at risk of drawing 3. Arbitrarily decide who COULD win a match and play it out for them? There's a reason IDs exist
That's not even considering that if IDs were outlawed, they're not going to openly communicate they're drawing to avoid this scenario.
