No I’m not missing the point. The point is they don’t want shuffle effects in Standard but still provide them.
They've stated that they don't want ubiquitous shuffle effects. The last time fetchlands were in Standard, they appeared in every tournament level deck. Evolving Wilds sees fringe play at best. If you can't understand the difference between the two, I can't help you

If its not enough good to see tournament play then its ok. Because its only problematic in tournaments
