"Magic sets are being released too fast" No, they're really not. For us, 90% of a set's sales are in the first 45 days. That leaves 180 days in the year where standard legal sets are selling at a fractional rate. That's 50% of the year with anemic sealed product sales...

So Wizards adds in ancillary products which typically have a smaller sales window and people complain that they can't keep up. Do you complain when the bakery makes too many flavors donuts that you like so they can appeal to a larger base? No. Get out of here with that shit.

You have 4 months between sets, then 3, then 1, then 1, then 1. That's why every year at this time people say it's too fast, and it's not because it's the players who are at fault.

I really only think about it at this time of the year where War is still fresh, the latest "masters set" just released 3 days ago, and we're having spoilers for the next set that releases in two weeks ... followed by other specialty products.

That said, you may well be right. But I hear from people all the time "just buy shit when it's reprinted or at their lows" as an excuse why "the game isn't that expensive." Don't feel like most other people can do that when lined up like this. I can afford it and it's still whoa

You can buy History of Benalia for $3 now. Just buy them, then go back in time to when it was $20 and still playable! Easy solutions to everything if you look.
