Conspiracy 2 singles got obliterated because so much of the product was dumped onto the market. Just because the boxes are $200 now 3 years later doesn't mean it was anything less than hot trash when it was released. Please stop using the set as an example for your narrative.
It's not "part of the narrative" it was a set that was "unlimited print run" and they didn't print any more of after the initial underwhelming wave

It’s one of the key examples being used to peddle the idea that supply is relative to demand. It isn’t always and Conspiracy 2 is a prime example of being way overprinted and tanking. Wizards can choose to overprint or underprint as they see fit.

Will MH1 suffer the same fate? We don’t know but early indications are it’ll track like BBD and not Conspiracy 2. My point was the latter is a bad example and people should stop using it. That’s just pure revisionist history.
