Why does anyone still write personal checks for anything other than paying bills? Also: why does anyone still use personal checks to pay their bills?

I use checks for business purposes for record keeping. It’s easier for me to write on the check any notes I need in the memo when I make the transaction. Plus many places charge a fee. And I hate giving cc companies more money. I avoid cc’s and debit cards now like the plague.

Business checks scare tf outta me BC they make the signee responsible for things, like if the checks bounced you can be held responsible. Or so the law was when I used them (and subsequently refused to do so any longer)
