100% US-centric There's not a lot of speculation in the thread, it's all based on my experience as a retailer. If you think Toys R Us closing had no impact on Hasbro's bottom line, you have no understanding of how retail works.

Hasbro owns many of my favorite franchises. Seeing massive amounts of stock from toys r us ending up in outlet stores is intense. I've seen 10 or so boxes of the exact same transformer on the shelves of my local outlet store. Toys r us kept huge inventory. Now that buyer is gone.

You'd be surprised about how much I know about distribution to chain stores. TrUs went tits up because of Amazon's business model. It's only obvious Hasbro will place its bet on businesses that move product by the thousands on a daily basis. So, no. Hasbro did not get hit.

We went from two massive wholesale consumers of our product to one. Even if we agree with your premise, Amazon has to buy up to 100% of TrUs did plus what they normally did for Hasbro not to take a hit. That isn't going to happen.
