Just watched three episodes of Voyager in a row where one of their shuttlecrafts is destroyed. At no point is anyone even a little miffed about this. Maybe the Delta Quadrant is chock full of extra ones?

Sure. The whole "replicator rations" thing on that show was always a little awkward anyway - they needed to add forced scarcity for the sake of plot, but Star Trek doesn't have that, ergo "we need more raw materials for the replicators."
