The Vikings currently have $179,522,154 wrapped up in cap commitments for 2019, according to sources with access to NFLPA salary data. Only five teams have more cap space already committed for next year. Expect some contract restructures and roster moves this spring.

We did. Diggs, Hunter, Kendricks all got extensions as well 3 key players

I agree. But now what can we do?? They are talking about possibly trading Rhodes to free up space. I’m sure others will restructure but it will certainly affect free agency signings.

Sendenjo, Remmers, Murray, Rudolph and Griffen all gone or restructured. I’d guess Waynes or Rhodes are moved because of the depth at CB now.

Going to be a challenge to make significant improvements to the OL. Expect a couple more “scrap heap” signings like Tom Compton.

My prediction is that Griffen, Reiff, and Rudy are restructured. Sendejo and Remmers gone. Murray and Barr walk. Adam gets his Diggs deal.

Cutting Griffen, Sendejo and Rudolph could free up a good amount of cap space. They are all expendable with replacements on roster.

And not a lot of ammo in the draft to reload. This is starting to look like the year after the Saints title game where the team got old and overpaid overnight.

@EthanWieneke this will not happen. All is lost and the franchise should be contracted.
