RT'd and posted to my FB page. After 5 years and with my second EV, I am amused by how often I now find myself parked close to another Leaf. Last week, in the Cathedral grounds, I also had to caution people to watch for the BMW-e coming up behind them. Nice.

I bought a second hand EV for the 95% of my journeys which are local. There are two major limiters still which need to be addressed. Battery technology to allow much faster charging and a massive investment in public charging points. No point having more EVs unless that’s sorted.

#EV sector is still a relatively new industry and things are constantly improving. This includes battery technology as well as the chargepoint infrastructure.
