Is this another case where the consumer is going to have to go to contract lawyers and consumer advocates in order for you to do the right thing? Do they need to look into a class action lawsuit? Enron had one when they were accused of price gouging during a crisis, didn’t they?

Perhaps there needs to be some kind of failsafe mechanism to avoid this situation? If it were me I would rather lose power than get hit with insane wholesale price.
