Doesn’t matter what the charges now...been without power since 5 am. Controlled outages, I hear. It’s cold in here.

Rolling blackouts are only supposed to last 15-45 mins. Suspect it’s an outage due to something else. Ours has been out since 3am-ish. Oncor’s site is down to report outrage but nearly 1/3 of their customers are without power. So glad I didn’t switch to griddy. 7-8.99 per kWh

At worst im break even using griddy simply due to not being in the habit of checking their emails during extreme times like this. Otherwise im sitting at 7-8 cents/kwh which is good.

Is it really a break even..my all in slightly over .09. Feb, .29 so far...and it’s not fine to have to cover the extra $1000 to pay for 3 days of power. So how do we solve this dilemma?? Shut the power down to the customers.

im talking long term. ive had griddy for like two years. I've had two instances like this of extreme costs and the only reason im caught off guard is because i didnt pay attention to their communications at the time which is understandable since 97% of the time you dont have to.

Agreed. I would have made the cut on Thursday. I saw no notification from them.

Unless their readings are in fact drastically off and a lot of that is credited back.

I shouldn’t see a reading for Monday and most of Tuesday...being without power was a blessing in disguise.

We understand that you were without power for a period of time. During this time, all usages are at least one to two days behind and those are still being received from the utility.
