      When you hit us with those prices, it was too late to switch. We're going to be out almost $1000 before I can get a new provider by Monday. You HAVE to mitigate some of these costs. You cant destroy your customers with these prices. We can't afford to use heat in 5 degree weather

      However, we've told our members if the forecast and prices are too extreme we recommend they switch providers since Thursday. While we value you as a member, we want what is best for your wallet and family even more.

          You described price spikes on your website as something that typically amounts to “about a $15 increase for the entire year.” Families are shutting off heat right now because they can’t afford to spend hundreds or thousands before they can switch providers.
