The most expensive hours are likely to be during the morning peak, from 7am to 10pm, & during the evening peak, b/w 6pm and 8pm. We expect these conditions to persist into early next week, when the coldest temperatures are forecasted to arrive Monday night and into Tuesday am.

Hey uh. Look. I get it, you cant control this and are about to have a lot of angry customers. If you could simply not recharge my account 3 times a day during this spike and let me pay in full one time when this is all over that would be appreciated. 1/2

ERCOT cannot process transfers on Sundays, so switching now is just too late. I will pay what I owe, but like, gonna need a little help here.

Had to swap. Found a decent 4 month plan. See y'all in June. Good luck to all who plan to stay with Griddy through this.

We understand! Hope to see you soon when we have price protection in full effect.

Yeah so the soonest I can switch atm is Wednesday (and I have to pay or wait up to 7 days) so I'm screwed either way. I'm pretty upset if you ask me...

We are adding reps that can switch sooner to this blog:https://www.griddy.com/post/how-to-switch …

Griddy customers look at your account, the price jumps SUN 6:00am to $6. Even hit $7 in evening. Gouging in an emergency. I say

Griddy does not control this at all, read up on how wholesale electricity works. This is the one time that a flat-rate plan saves you. You are right to be pissed, but it's misplaced.
