For today, you can see that load came in almost 20% above forecast for most of the hours of the day.. You can find the forecast vs actual load data here: http://www.ercot.com/content/cdr/html/loadForecastVsActualCurrentDay.html …pic.twitter.com/cNgzzsDAV0

Can't even turn on electric heater for 5 min, this isn't reasonable pricing

Hi! I just Pmed you so we can chat! Yes, right now prices are significantly higher much like it was in August 2019. But, in 2019 members who were able to stay saved 9% that year.

I, in fact, did save substantially more in 2019 than 9%. August didn't even hurt me that much... Here's the stats. August 2019 vs August 2020 + Savings Overall I've saved two Julys!!!pic.twitter.com/0XVWnEBeON

If TX avg is 12.4kWh, then I'm saving roughly 23.6% with @GoGriddy... I also don't mind pre-cooling and pre-heating because I know I'm doing so when the grid is less-stressed. I feel MUCH more environmental, too! Like, I'm going to install a Tesla battery to deal with surges!

My gripe with @GoGriddy is that their fixed $9.99 rate does NOT make sense for me in the fall - spring. It eats up into my rate and I always consider switching, especially right now with the ice storm. Hey Griddy: You should have *scaled* monthly fees for people using < 500 kWH!

I like this scaled idea!! I’m a low kWh user year round so this would benefit me. Plus it’s an incentive to use less electricity which benefits the environment.

And they would get a LOT MORE fanatical support from people like you and me!! No joke, that $9.99 is 50% of my total bill, sometimes 66%! Like here, Jan 2021. 62.4%! How the heck can I shout @GoGriddy's awesomeness when their surcharge is so big?pic.twitter.com/BkJRqzuuIr

      Replying to @hopeseekr @_caitlincarter_ and

In my professional opinion, @GoGriddy should have a tiered system like all the other elec providers: < 500, < 1000, +1000... The +1000 pay $9.99, < 1000 pay $4.99, the < $500 pay either $1.99 (if they want to be awesome!) or whatever equals out to "The Texas Average" (12c/kWh)

I like where you're going with this! Thanks for the input! It is appreciated. I'll be sure to make note of it!
