I believe the EIA rate is residential use only. Does Griddy commingle residential and commercial prices to calculate it’s average price?

Hi Frank! Nope, we don't commingle residential and commercial prices. We use the EIA rate since it is the residential rate we are comparing against.

So average Griddy pricing does not include commercial Griddy clients. I assume you have commercial clients (restaurants, strip mall stores). During winter months usage is lower and there’s no way I can reach your average price due to fixed fees (TDU, credit). Summer is different.

That it is true that higher usage will extrapolate the 9.99/month over a larger usage, thus lowering your price. Although that is true, shifting your usage can still allow you to save money over the course of the winter, which is what our members have shown.
