You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
Seems like a silly answer. Your system can do whatever, but for the user facing experience it should certainly be marked inactive especially if the address and smart meter are exactly the same.
Totally understand, but we need it for record purposes. But, I will be happy to pass your suggestion along since I do think it is a valid one!
