Tomorrow's projected forecast, 3/6: Wind generation is expected to be around 8,000 MW through the morning, with a sharp drop around 9 AM to 6.000 MW. From here it is expected that generation will pick through the evening peaking at 14,000 MW.
The morning peak will be a bit sensitive due to some 21,000 MW of outages, but all in all, pricing should be moderate. LZ West price premium continues, primarily during the morning & evening peaks.
Forecasted peak demand of 42,000 MW between 7-8 AM with available generation around 49,000 MW. Average on-peak price of 1.7¢ system-wide excluding LZ West at 5.7¢.
