Tomorrow's projected forecast, 2/26: Wind generation is expected to see massive drop-offs tomorrow, starting the day around 20,000 MW and then falling below 2,000 MW during the evening peak. Combines Cycle Natural Gas generation is expected to pick up most of the slack from wind
Less efficient (pricier) thermal units will have to come online as well to pick much of the remaining load. During the evening hourly pricing is expected to reach 5¢, meaning there is a risk of price spikes during this period.

Pricing in LZ West is expected to be highly elevated during tomorrow evening, due to low wind generation and congestion. Forecasted peak demand of 49,000 MW between 7-8 AM with available generation around 57,000 MW (the bulk of this is available during the morning).
