And if they don't like Griddy, and are unhappy with their rate, no problem! We have no contracts and no break fees unlike most fixed rate plan.

Griddy customer’s tweet provides partial info (“energy only” rate, but not “all in” rate) which misleads most consumers. That Griddy customer’s tweet got 2 “likes,” 1 by @gogriddy and 1 by Griddy’s CEO, whereby Griddy is tacitly endorsing dissemination of misleading info. #smarmy

We like our member's posts that say they are happy. That's not a crime. We have no control over if they post all-in or energy cost. It is a free country.

Griddy does have the ability to clarify things when your customers tweet partial info that is misleading. You choose not to clarify. Instead you choose to “like” (i.e., endorse) the incomplete, misleading info. That’s on you. (And it’s a dubious business practice, too.)

We choose not to critique them on which part of the app they would like to share. But, if people would like more info or our members are unhappy, we would be happy to further educate.

You don’t have to “critique.” Just supply the relevant complete info: “We’re thrilled Michael is happy with his rate. The rate he showed was for energy only. The ‘all-in’ rate for a customer with his usage that month would be approximately x.x¢ per kWh.” See how easy that is?

Per our confidentiality guidelines and the PUC we don't publish personal information without their consent such as usage and rates. But if you're okay with breaching people's personal information, go ahead!

Now you’re being sophistical. You don’t have to say what that particular customer paid. Just say what the all in rate would be for a typical customer with his approximate usage. Your reply is the sophistical BS that makes me want to call you out on all your many screw ups.

Actually, the PUC says we are not allowed to say that. Sorry!

Show me where @puctx says you are unable to say, “The rate Michael showed does not include other charges that go into the ‘all in’ rate. The average ‘all in’ rate for our customers with x usage during Y month was z.z¢ per kwh.” You put that kind of info in your video every week.

You using personal information in that example. In the weekly recap videos we use our average members all-in rates not specific members. Look we're never going to agree. Have a great Friday!

That’s just a dodge. I had lately been ignoring your borderline (and over-the-line) online practices, but it’s obviously time to start paying closer attention.
