So if two potential customers in the same zip both say they average 1,000 kWh/month, you would give both of them the same estimate. What if one of them followed all of your advise to shift usage and the other didn't? Which one is your estimate accurate for? Neither!
You're talking about 2 different things. An estimate of what someone's Griddy rate would be before using our tools and after. If you're point is we don't know how invested in our tools our members will get in order to achieve ample savings than you're not wrong.

We look at standard load profiles but if someone where to give us their SMT data I would be able to give them all of that data.

But you're right that if a person uses our tools and information to adjust their usage, then they would save even more.

Exactly! You can't predict usage or cost/kWh every 15 min so your estimates are erroneous. On the other hand, with fixed rate plans, we 100% accurately predict cost/kWh & we predict usage/mo better than you can predict usage/15 min so we provide a much more accurate estimate.
