You are only telling part of the story. When you add the $9.99 Griddy fee, TDU fees, credit card fees, and taxes, you are paying over 11.5 cents/kWh which is 25% more than the lowest 12 month fixed rate plan. . We may not have to if you did a better job of educating. Do you tell (or better yet deter) potential low use customers because they don't use enough electricity to overcome the $120/yr fee? Do you verify that they have smart home features and a family willing to make sacrifices?

We give them estimates based on their monthly usage over the phone, on social, and on our web. As we've talked before if we aren't a good fit for them or it doesn't look like they'd save over the course of year, yes. Yes, we do deter them. Thanks for the concern!
