The Texas average we use is the EIA rate which comes from the U.S. department of energy. It is the average of all fixed, indexed, and variable plans in Texas.
Roger that and thanks for the info. The average Texan is paying too much...i.e. old/high variable/fixed rate “plans”...they don’t shop for a good fixed rate (many don’t want to either)...Griddy is costing me (specifically) more than what I could get shopping it.
