@GoGriddy This is getting out of hand. High price alert at 7:35? We’ve made this work so far but can’t adjust with the whole family home. Is there a plan or should we just get out?

This is deceptive: “You already paid for it with the real-time rate if you switched to a fixed plan you will most likely be paying it with the contract you sign.” You do yourself no good by giving customers dubious info. It comes back to haunt you 10x over, like 8/13-8/15.
-
Thanks for the advice, but we stand by the fact that fixed rates are going to increase based on what happened in August. Fixed rate providers aren't in the business of loosing money and with what happened in August, they lost a lot of money and are going to need to make it up.

I would give you less of a hard time if you would just the BS. I’d actually be pulling for you. But you can’t seem to figure out that targeting your pitch to uneducated consumers with dubious claims is a bad play that will kill you in the long run. Aug 13-15 taught you NOTHING!
-
It did teach us a lot and we are altering how we market and things about our business model. But it doesn't change our core beliefs about the market. I'm sorry you aren't able to see that on Twitter.

“Sufficient generation” does not mean there won’t be price spikes. In fact, on the very first day of fall, real-time prices spiked above 20¢ per kWh for almost 5 hours! (And that doesn’t even include charges for Ancillary Services, TDU charges, membership, taxes, CC fees, etc.)pic.twitter.com/PvN26eYGcx
