This means that the other retailers will need to increase their fixed rates come the next few weeks/months to make up for these losses. Griddy only makes a profit through our membership fee of $9.99 a month which we waived for all of our members this month.

But, of course, what you don’t tell your members is that if they shop wisely for a teaser “new customer” fixed rate plan each & every time their current contract expires, they will almost always beat both the “average” rate and the Griddy rate—without worrying about price spikes!
