I think your definition of price spike is too high. I consider a 200% (or more) increase in price a “spike”. I’m sure most people would as well since it is well more than double the price.
@GoGriddy always compares its “savings” to “average” rates. But it’s easy to beat “average” rates with a fixed rate plan, without the worry of $9 per kWh price spikes.
