Weekly Recap: 8/18-8/24 Griddy members had the lowest week in August so far as a reprieve from those unprecedented high prices. Griddy members paid 10.5 c/kWh vs. the Texas average of 11.6c/kWh, which is 10% higher! https://www.gogriddy.com/blog/uncategorized/weekly-price-recap-8-18-8-24/ …pic.twitter.com/RZtA80VJwN
The only money we make is our $9.99 membership, which we have waived for all of our members in August. We are unable to refund the cost of usage reported because Griddy did not profit nor set these prices, they were wholesale rates

Econ101: The inaccurately low prices displayed on Griddy’s price dial caused Griddy members to use more electricity—at higher prices—than they would have used if Griddy’s price dial had been accurate. Griddy’s price dial error cost Griddy members money.
