Yes, ancillary services aren't in the dial because we aren't given those prices in real-time much like we aren't given TDU charges in real-time. Our dial shows real-time price data.
You could be more transparent re Ancillary Services, e.g., explain in contract that Ancillary Services charges vary & are allocated to members proportionately based on daily kWh usage; disclose each day’s per kWh price for Ancillary Services, instead of showing only a MTD total.

Griddy’s answer comparing Ancillary Services (AS) and TDU charges, while literally true, obscures important differences: TDU charges per kWh are almost perfectly constant, but AS charges vary widely. TDU charges are easy to discover/understand, but AS charges are a black box.
I want to know where to get these blackbox numbers. Here’s idea for Griddy... How about you market as being transparent and you show customers all these numbers in your app. Customers would like that.
