Before we did put the adders in, the price on the dial was only off by 2c/kWh of the RTSPP about 1% of the time in 2019. Adders were always included in the statement and usage.

Griddy App’s inaccurately low prices caused customers to use more juice at higher prices than they would have use if the price had been reported accurately. Because this effect was most pronounced WHEN PRICES WERE HIGH, the frequency of a 2¢ error is not the relevant data.

The relevant questions are: How much electricity, at what price, did Griddy’s App error induce its customers to consume? Then compare those numbers to how much electricity, at what price, customers would have used if the price had been accurately reported in the Griddy App.
