@GoGriddy Can you please add the ancillary services to the monthly chart so I can see how much per day?

I talked to my energy rep who wrote my market rate contract. I have a 5 year contract and he negotiated my ancillary services so I just pay a flat per kWh rate base adder. Since Griddy's Ancillary Services rates are variable then they must buy them either daily or monthly.
That requires traders, risk managers, compliance, credit, load forecasting, settlements and energy accounting - millions of dollars a year in salaries and systems that every other electric provider has to pay and pass through to their customers that Griddy does not.

I can ask questions, but I’m not knowledgeable enough on this esoteric topic to answer or dispute any answer. It might be better if Griddy could do more to explain how Ancillary Services are calculated on each member’s bill, since it‘s +15% of the charge for “wholesale” juice.

Griddy really should give a fuller explanation of Ancillary Services charges, not just what they’re for, but also how (and when) they’re allocated to members, e.g., based on kWh consumed during each 15 minutes settlement interval, or what?
