Finally pulled the plug on
@GoGriddy. Your idea of leaving home from 1 to 7 and turn of lights is non practical approach. Ppl can’t shut off their fridge , freezers. I switched today to a fix rate of 7.9c all in rate. We don't make a profit from these spikes. We get the real-time price from ERCOT, the grid operator, and pass them through without mark up. The only money we make is off of the $9.99 monthly membership which we credited back to our members for August.
