Thanks for calling me cute. But we never said we thought it made it okay. This is what the real-time wholesale market. It does have spikes. The price spikes over 30 cents about .5% of the time and over $1 about .8% of the time and above the Texas average 4% of the time.

Before yesterday, in the whole history of the US wholesale electricity market, the price had hit $9/kWh for a grand total of 10 minutes.
