@GoGriddy I normally have my recharge set at $100. Most months o recharge once or twice. Already in August I have been charged 3 times, once yesterday and again today. I can’t see how we are consuming $100 per day. We have the AC at 78-80 during the day.
We know it is frustrating, and it is frustrating. Before yesterday, in the whole history of the US wholesale electricity market, the price had hit $9/kWh for a grand total of 10 minutes. Yesterday, we had 90 minutes straight. Plus several other hours above $1/kWh.

I may need to look at an alternative such as average billing of this keeps up. At this rate this could be a $2000 month for electricity which negates any savings for the remainder months.

Forecast is looking like it will be cooling off so prices should hopefully be normalizing soon!
