That sucks and I know. It’s my normal summer bill and it isn’t that hot here.

i don’t think we’ve ever had a bill over $300, and this rate it’s going to be $500 for August... so much for buying wholesale... thanks

Rough time to be a Griddy member. I’m new as well and this month is looking bad.

It's been frustrating for sure. Who knew that the grid would hit record highs for multiple days?! It sucks! But our business model has always been built on a long game and not a short game and it is also why we don't have contracts or break fees.

honestly the bullshit delivery charge (not yours) and the stupid credit card fee (yes yours) are the most frustrating things
other than that, i like it and understand the long game3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
Awesome! Glad you understand the long term! And we get delivery prices are crazy! Unfortunately that is something you'll have to take up with your utility as we pass those through. As for the merchant service fee, we are trying to stay consistent with out 100% pass through.

if you’d allow to draw from a bank account you wouldn’t need a credit card fee

We've looked into that. But unfortunately is doesn't work with our pay-as-you-go method. It could take bank drafts multiple days to come through and in that time, a member's funds can go in the negatives.
