The fairest way to do it, and the way that is consistent with our 100% pass-through philosophy, was to pass this charge through as well. We are always working to reduce those charges and in fact recently negotiated a lower rate from our provider (from 2.9%+ $0.30 to 2.5%+ $0.25).
We found that it was not viable due to the nature of our business bc we are a pay as you go company. Bank drafts can take 3-5 business days to process while in the interim a members balance can go negative.
