We know it is a little shocking, but it always averages out in the end!
There have been some price spikes, which have lasted only 5-mins. They’re caused by a power plant ramping down b4 another has a chance to ramp up, making brief supply/demand imbalances on the grid. But don't worry, historically prices only spike above 30c about 0.5% of the time!
