Alex Jones has used YouTube as a platform to commit libel (calling Robert Mueller a pedophile, calling Sandy Hook parents actors and the death of their children a hoax, etc) for a long time now and they removed him from it. 1/2

Other content hosting sites also banned Jones, within hours of each other. I find it likely they've wanted to for while, but were fearing this sort of backlash from an audience which drove the parents of school shooting into hiding. 2/3

This had caused many to claim the death of free speech, despite these bans being enacted by non-public entities. It's apparently fine for business owners to not sell wedding cakes to gays, but not ok to prevent a user from slandering people.

This is nothing like forcing someone to bake a special cake. Forcing someone to bake a wedding cake is actually a violation of the first amendment, as much as disagree with the discrimination against LGBTQ. This wasn’t a question of selling a prebaked cake.

You're comparing a race issue to a freedom of religion issue. Not the same. Not serving people of different race is wrong but not the same thing as freedom of religion.

Jamie, famous preachers used to insist the Bible required racial segregation. If you are interested I can show you a Jerry Falwell sermon from 1956 arguing that, or one from the president of the Southern Baptist convention. Did the 1964 civil rights act violate religious liberty?

I think religion is pointless honestly. Religion was a way to give people morals back when civility was at a low point in society. That being said, the baker who owns the business has the right to refuse service based on religion. Is there anyone being refused service for race?

No one said anything about hate. The baker didn't agree with their views. That's all. Just like I support businesses who refuse service for people in maga hats.

Homosexuality isn't a view though, any more than skin color. I can't one day change my mind and become attracted to men, and I don't have any reason to believe that guys who are could do the reverse.

Calling someone stupid just makes your argument more mute. The law is the law, you want to change it? Then do something other than ranting about it on Twitter.
