This might just be nostalgia talking here, but I think three days grace might have genuinely been one of the best alt rock bands of the 2000s

You ever hear of Muse? Or the album Origin of Symmetry? If you like space rock, alternative with a twinge of electronic, or you're looking for something different in your music library, give the album a listen. It's from 2001 but is one of the best albums of early 2000s, to me.

Oh hell yeah I know muse! I’ve just been debating in my head for a while now whether TDG actually made music that should be valued over other “emo” alt rock acts of the 00s

Well, I’d like to think there were other bands that did that too, not just TDG.

Exactly dude, I feel like we’re at a point where music from that decade deserves to be talked about, muse and Radiohead are kind of a given in terms of top notch quality.

Yeah, it’s weird to think that in 2 years it’ll have been two decades since the dawn of a new century and people will still consider the 2000s music scene as new and not worth talking about in a nostalgic and memorial fashion.

Honestly I’m predicting a surge of “2000s kids” nostalgia in the next couple of years

Most definitely, but that’s fine because it’ll just become a meme and then people will become afraid to talk about it out of fear of being embarrassed because of the self awareness of the society we live in, just like the 90’s kid surge.
