    I've never been able to produce a decent beetroot. Ive got a decent sized raised bed which gets 50% sunlight, good quality soil and ready supply of compost. My neighbours can grow beetroot. What am I doing wrong?

    You were doing so well with reasoned argument against listing (which I happen to agree with) but, what a shame you had to revert to type . By lowering yourself to childish, abusive rhetoric you weaken your argument. Why do councillors do this?

    We do not feel that such language from one of our most senior Councillors adds anything to the heritage debate that we need to have. Many people agree with @HistoricEnglland and we don't wear tweed!

    I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before the Election. Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state & local governments, use our Postal System as their Delivery Boy (causing tremendous loss to the U.S.), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business!

    This accurately sums up the City Council. Keep your mouth shut and do as you're told; any voices of dissent are thrown to the wolves.

    Exclusive: Chris Patrick's departure from the council came after he spoke out against plans to redevelop areas of the Upper Precinct. The council issued no comment when asked if his comments had played a role in the decision. More with on shortly.

    Oh god, they have even dressed one of the Cabinet members up in a Hi Vis uniform for the photo. Please don't send this to Nuneaton and Bedworth Labour they will start getting ideas.
