The Dem response doesn’t even matter. The Nunes memo is a piece of propaganda created strictly for #StateTV fans. It could be 5 blank pieces of paper & it wouldn’t matter. Trump voters will believe it’s reason to support Trump’s Saturday Night Massacre. Propaganda works.

I cannot like or retweet this enough. This memo is not for people who think critically. It’s not swing voters. It’s not for independents. It’s for their low-info, over-represented minority base, whose racism and sexism is so pervasive, it makes them vote against their interests.

They must maintain this pack of voters who only listens to conservative shock radio or watches H*nnity/T*cker/&Friends. They sit in a echo chamber lined with garbage. The memo reinforces prejudices they

I only wish journos (esp those at @msnbc) understood this. They are keeping up the pretense that truth is more powerful than propaganda. But that’s only true when you explicitly acknowledge propaganda exists & is powerful & fight back. Saying, “This is silly!” isn’t enough!

The Nunes memo also faults the FBI for not disclosing to the FISA Court that Christopher Steele had planted a story about Carter Page with @DavidCornDC. Yet the FBI had sought the Page FISA application two weeks prior. How can they fault the FBI for something in the future.

He's not a billionaire. He tried to sue someone who wrote that he was a millionaire. It turned out that in order for someone to sue for libel or slander, it has to be proven false. He couldn't. Also, getting an inheritance is not the same as being self made.
