I’d like to hear from other Pacific nations who have community transmission under similar circumstances. How long did it take for it to peak? How did you get through it? It would be good to also hear from other countries in the world. Your shared knowledge will be helpful for us.

My country 🇸🇧 For the 1st time since the pandemic began 2 yrs ago has wide spread community transmission. We’ve stretched health facilities, supplies & man power. Vaccination rates low. Many in crowded homes. Starting a thread. Please us with your experience. 🥺

Happy New Year everyone! Let’s make it a productive one. COP26 may be over, but at home sea level rise is now higher than ever. My brother, seated here, is in front of our sea wall. Built in 2012-now almost gone. So here’s to another year to fight for a safer future!

If this is true & does take this seriously, it will be the 1st time the Pacific region witnesses COP on it’s shores, since COP1. I said this before. I will say it again - “We need to bring closer to us! Come & see for yourselves the urgency of your responsibility” 💯
