    Ed Whitlock. RIP. Easily one of the ten greatest runners of all time. Faster in his seventies than most runners in their twenties.

    Canadian marathoner Ed Whitlock, who ran 3:56:33 for the marathon at 85 years old, has passed away. He turned 86 on March 6.
