So basically, you need core speed, cause as Kyle said, Heroes mainly runs off of one core. For ex, I have 4 cores at 4.4ghtz.

So I actually still run my stream off cpu at 1080p/60 and can maintain 120ish fps in heroes

You can also set OBS to use your GPU though to do the encoding as Kyle said, Nvidia codec I think that takes a lot of strain off the cpu

You use OBS Studio? If so you could try encoding with the NVENC codec https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBiEqeWplvA … which puts more of the work on vid card

Though from those specs I'd think you'd be able to do cpu just fine too. Let me check my settings when I get home, I'll hit ya up Kerri!

TBH i'm having less tech issues and more bandwidth/server/connection - but I've gotten heaps of feedback on that (Y)

Yeah, internet has to be able to support it of course, but you could try NVENC with XSplit and see if it helps https://www.xsplit.com/blog/xsplit-workshop-a-guide-to-supported-hardware-encoders …

Pretty sure I already use that (Y) but my BR wasn't nearly high enough. However, not sure bumping it will help with flimsy connection

Sounds like you're having the same issue as me. According g to OBS in having no frame drops but it still seems super laggy on stream.
