Twitter, what do you think the rule is for when the USA calls a sporting event a 'match' versus a 'game'? For example: tennis match, baseball game. My leading theory was American sports are games but apparently soccer is a game, not a match!

Feels like a match is (generally) a 1-on-1 competition (tennis, combat sports) whereas a game is a team sport thing. (Then there's professional wrestling where everything is a match no matter how many people you cram into it)
