I have so many thoughts about the subject, and they all generally point towards, "I'm not mad at him being batman." The biggest problem people seem to have with him is that the first time they heard of him was when he played a hearthrob in a movie for teenage girls.

And oh boy, I can't think of anything that Batman stans hate more than teenage girls. They're literally the antithesis of everything they think that Batman stands for.

Yeah based on Warner's historical missteps with Batman on film, I doubt he'll be the problem if the movie isn't good. It's funny to watch people losing their minds though.
