Might just be me, but I think it'd be refreshing to have a shooter without a ton of complexity again. Like, give me the original #battlefield1942 with updated graphics. Tons of maps and vehicles, 5 classes (no messing with extra weapons or attachments), and just a bunch of fun.

I still probably have more hours in 1942 (played competitively for awhile) than any other shooter. It was just straight good, had a ton of maps and vehicles, a few game modes, and you just started playing, nothing to unlock, nothing to manage. It was refreshing comparably to now.
