As someone who is going Into software development, I understand this very well. You fix one thing and something else breaks
that's just how coding goes. Lots of games have had rough starts, but that doesn't mean @anthemgame can't become great once enough work is put into it.

Well you better pay attention in your classes then. Because if you fix one thing and something else breaks then you have not resolved your issue properly. Especially you don't release said fix 3 days earlier than expected and call it a win.

Have to check, have you taken coding classes? Also, not sure why you brought up the early patch, that's not relevant to what we're talking about

This patch that was just released is exactly what the discussion point is on. And yes it was supposedly released 3 days early to allow gamers to play with patch over the weekend. And yes I have been coding since Fortran.

From reading Warner's tweet, it was my understanding that we are talking about people aggressively making posts instead of having calm discussions. And is the Fortran language used in game development? I'll be honest I'm not familiar with it

What? Did you not learn about the history of coding in your coding class? You need to find a new school. Warner directly replied to a tweet that was in regards to the recent patch. And how is your reply in association to aggressive posts when its directly on his issue of coding?

And on note, the mention of Fortran was simply to give you a snapshot of my length of time with coding. I started writing my own text based games back in early 80s and selling them out of Radio Shack. Since moved on from basic, C+ and old coding to more modern

But you are still missing the point of all of this. A developer should never shut down an investor that is giving honest feedback to a product. Regardless of sensitivity of developer to language used. If they did not directly threaten your life then you give it credence.

I believe why the guy was banned was the use of language and tone. When you can't relay your message without reverting to foul language, then you should not be talking at all. Especially when the purpose of sending the message is to get your point across.pic.twitter.com/Jhc7VdpAei

I think we will all just have to agree you’re wrong in this one chief.

Decorum for sure has its uses. But when decorum does not bring desired results the masses will always speak their minds. It is how those in charge handle that mind speaking that will ultimately determine their own worth.
