Why does my Twitter feed sound like @BlizzHeroes shut down the servers and cancelled the game outright? Wasn’t it shifting of personnel and scaling back esports ? From what I read new heroes still being released and game still supported. What am I missing ?

I can understand that. Communication would been nice for sure. Is it safe to say that outside of esports players and esport fans the majority of Heroes players won’t notice a difference in their experience ?
It is hard to tell until we see what the new cadence is with new content and how often we get balance updates etc.

I agree time will tell. I still believe Blizzard is a ‘players first’ company. but like you said we’ll see. Also need to look at the business side of it. If heroes isn’t generating the money on the back end it would be bad business to continue to pour the same resources into it.

the other thing I am concerned about is having so many ppl leave that the que times increased dramatically. Especially since they just went up by 150% for me with the QM changes.
