The Diablo blog post was sad and weird, but... they obviously have SOME new Diablo stuff, and a new Diablo game will exist EVENTUALLY, but yeah.

Or they had no new Diablo stuff and saw how the community reacted after a week, noted it wasn’t dying down and wanted to get ahead of any negative feedback
