I don't think people completely comprehend how flattering a host or raid is. Someone is choosing to share their community with you. They're basically saying "I like this person enough to associate myself and my content with them."
It's a big deal, y'all.

Sooooo true!!! In my experience the people that have the most gratitude are bigger streamers because they understand this.
I’ve raided smaller streamers to try to help out and after the non-acknowledgment and not even a “thank you” I’ve never re-hosted them.
